My students will learn the importance of growing their plants and food. It will give them opportunities to practice responsibility, and taking care of themselves(nutrition). Students can use the garden space to calm down, and take breaks. They can observe different conditions of growing plants, and what plants need to thrive just like our minds and bodies. These garden tools will help inspire, teach cooperation, and promote eating healthier foods and sharing them with others.
It's our chance to provide these learning tools for our students to help them feel CONNECTED with our school garden and earth. Our minds and bodies needs healthy foods to help with regulating our emotions and to make wise choices.
