After a year of remote learning, I would like to provide the students with the opportunity to get away from the computers and go back to simpler times where we would sit and read together. My students would be able to connect with their peers, with the books, and with the culture in a different way. There is just something special about holding a book, and I would love to have my students experience that connection. After a year of using so much technology and starring at a screen, please help me give my students a book to hold, pages to smell, a story to dive in, immigration issues to understand and discuss, and a culture to connect with.

About my class
