Students will use the camera, tablet, and flash drive to create digital memories of their year in VPK. Students will be able to take pictures with the camera to capture special events as well as everyday life in our classroom. The pictures will them be displayed on the tablet and used as a part of the technology center. As the pictures are replaced on the tablet, they will be put into a folder, either by event or month on the flash drive, so we can view them without deleting them. Students will be in charge of what they want to view and how often. We will take the camera on field trips and allow students to showcase their learning away from the building as well.
Lights, camera, action, review--what memories will you create this year! Students need to be able to take pictures of what they are doing to bring learning to life. For most of my students, this will be the only way to experience a "digital" life.
