My current STEM area needs an upgrade as far as both organization and supplies in order to help my students continue their efforts to tackle the real-world problem solving challenges and engaging activities I provide them.
I love providing my students with the opportunity to explore and problem solve, but I need an opportunity to provide them a better space and more materials. The cart will allow my students easy access to the materials needed to put their ideas into play. The clay will allow students to craft various representative structures as they showcase their ideas to model real life scenarios (why we have seasons, size model of the solar system, etc). Students use the paint in order to give their models realistic colors. Students use craft sticks and stirrers in engineering tasks like catapults. The activity tubs will allow students to explore STEM activities with the guidelines and materials already set up for them.
