These books have become of great interest to my students. My students have read the first two parts of Francisco Jimenez's life. And would like to know the rest of his life. The students will read and analyze the lives of these famous people. They will identify qualities that lead to success, and the final result of education. These books will be read by 92 struggling readers. My students will learn the importance of education, higher education, and social service. And, they will also make comparisons between both Francisco Jimenez and Cesar Chavez. My greatest goal is for my students to develop a passion for reading and to become lifelong learners and readers.
