I would love to give my students the opportunity to go grab a book and a pillow and snuggle up for a good, independent read. Right now my books are in buckets which can be really hard for the kids to look through, make a choice, and replace nicely when finished (picture 17 5 years old trying to wait their turn at a bucket!). Having this book display in the classroom would make it a breeze for the students to pick a book and put it back when finished. The whiteboard on the back will also be available for students to use during centers time!
