The technology for the math classroom will be used throughout the year to help students to instantly collect data and answer the questions they have. Students will compare their own models with other groups and practice their mathematical reasoning skills inside of the classroom.
Our science department will benefit from these tools as well since teachers collaborate within and between projects. The data students can collect include their position, velocity, and acceleration. Students will develop their own testable questions and use the sensors to instantly model their data from which they can discuss and draw conclusions in a timely manner.
