This project will fill out our waning supply of tools and provide 2 very good reference books. The tools will be used by all my classes this year and next and the books will be used as references in my advanced classes. The most complex form in Ceramics is a well-made teapot. It requires excellent 3D design skills as well as proficiency in the variety of hand tools and forming methods. As a lesson, a teapot assignment provides and avenue to teach a broad range of skills and clarify the necessity of good design in all stages of a piece.

About my class
