I am transitioning my classroom seating from traditional desks and chairs to flexible seating. I would like to provide my students with various seating options and independent work stations. The lap desks will be one option that I can provide for an independent work station in my classroom. My students can enjoy being able to spread out in the classroom and on the floor. The students can choose to sit on a cushion and use the lap desk for a stable work surface. I chose these wooden lap desks because I believe they would be more durable and last for years compared to plastic lap desks.
