The lights in our classroom are too bright and overstimulating. We are going to use the cloud light covers to tone down the brightness, bring a little bit of the outside world into our classroom, and to help make a calming atmosphere to provide a better learning environment for our students. We want our students to feel safe and stress free when they enter the classroom; calm and ready to learn! These light covers will be perfect for creating an awesome learning space for our students while also toning down the bright glares from the fluorescent lights!
We are looking for rest and relaxation, in a stress free, calming classroom environment! That is why we are also asking for new nap mats for our students. Many of them do not get enough rest at home and really need nap time at school to refresh and stay on track. With our program being based on low income students, we are unable to ask the parents to purchase any supplies. The nap mats that we have now are old and tearing up; the plastic covering is ripped and the foam is coming out. I would love to be able to provide a comfortable place for my sweet babies to lay their heads at nap time.
