Weekly Scholastic News, Science Spin and TIME magazines will "hook" our students into reading with a variety of current events and science topics. These subscriptions will be a nice compliment to our district reading, science, and social studies curriculum. Providing students with materials to read, discussing real-world news, experimenting with science and sharing with their families will be valuable to our students at BES. Students will be anxiously awaiting each monthly issue! Reading is learning! When our students are reading, building confidence, increasing their background knowledge and vocabulary, their academic achievement will increase! The sky is the limit for our students at BES!
