Students in our school have fallen for the popular books by R.J. Palacio. They line up to check out books from this author and sign up for waiting lists. They have already devoured all the previous writings and are eager to read the new graphic novel by this best-selling author. "Wonder" and "Auggie and Me" were hits with our school population, capitalizing on and encouraging the growth of their empathy as well as their reading skills.
By providing the graphic novel in a known series for our students, we may even bring more hesitant readers into the fold! Please help us foster a lifelong love of reading in our students by providing the books they are eager to read.
