The PACEE program is a program that serves students with Autism and other communications related disabilities. Special needs students deserve to have a voice and the resources that ALL students receive in the classroom. My students are lacking the rich resources that enable them to effectively learn to communicate appropriately with their peers, teachers, family members and community. Incorporating listening skills by utilizing Leveled Readers with CD's enable my students to generalize the art of communicating through correct sentence structure and intonation. My special needs students can build literacy and effective communication skills that will significantly impact their futures with the help of literacy and communication resources.
