With COVID rapidly changing the way we work, students can no longer share materials as they did in the past. We are requesting motors, batteries, propellor blades and basic materials to build mini cars and explore the science of energy.
Without funding for supplies to build hands-on examples of how different types of energy are used in daily life, my students will be stuck on the computer again, using idealized simulations of devices to learn instead of grappling with and trouble shooting the real-world limitations of using energy for transportation, lighting, and electricity. By funding this project, you help ensure that my students don't have to do ALL of their learning on line.
