These books have been selected with my students in mind. They have shown tremendous growth in reading during the pandemic when we were full distance learning, and these books and our work with them in class discussions, map discover for the geography that is shared in the storylines, and discussions about the issues all of the characters face will further their growth as readers and as people. These books would support our growth with RL 8.2 and SL 8.1 I have been noticing book titles and themes over the last 3 months, and feel these books, read as a whole class, will add a great depth to the work we have been doing to grow.

About my class
