These materials will provide my students with a variety of literature as they are learning about and exploring the world around them. The books will be used within my classroom libraries to engage students in reading as we build a community of readers. The students will be able to see themselves and their communities through their reading as they make connections to their lives and those around them. These award-winning books will allow students to be exposed to a variety of books as they grow as readers. The students will be able to interact with the books and each other as they explore and share what they are reading.
