My students are high energy and hands-on. They need to be able to ground themselves and be hands-on with their learning.
This project is meant to help them by introducing flexible seating and giving them the hand-on items they need to understand using money. It also helps my pre-kinder and kinder students grasp the concept of using Play-Doh to recognize numbers and letters by forming them with Play-Doh.
My students are always out of their seats, and the flexible seating will give them a way to expel their energy and “play” while staying in their seats and focusing on the lesson at hand.
