I am hoping to obtain the text "The Hero With A Thousand Faces" by Joseph Campbell for a Myth and Folklore class. As a drive to increase our literacy rates and expose our students to a variety of multi-cultural materials, my high school has approved this class for students interested in the source material and content.
The world is smaller today than it has ever been and students must be exposed to a greater variety of cultural, religious, and linguistic sources from around the globe. By learning mythology through the foremost professional on the subject, Joseph Campell, I hope to accomplish this.
