I want my 5th graders to be able to embrace the differences of students and teachers through a class novel that they can all get their hands on. They will be hooked on this amazing book that will encourage them to continue to not only love this incredible novel but also to begin to love reading more and more.
The story of Mr. Terupt is about a teacher that I strive to be each and everyday and I want my students to understand my dedication to them!
While reading together, we can live through a story with characters who love school, friends, and learning. All students will hopefully be able relate to this book which makes teaching even more enjoyable!
