My project will consist of a unit on the Holocaust. We will read the novel, Number the Stars. I will use the novel study guide and activities so that students can connect to what life was like for the Jewish people of the time. I will also use the other book resources to introduce the realities of the Holocaust. We will also complete a DBQ on the topic. Students will have the opportunity to represent their understanding through a student choice board activity. The additional materials I am requesting will be for students to complete their activity. They can make an artifact, newspaper article, a PowerPoint, or other media source for their final culminating activity.
