Junior high students need to see examples of strong visuals and captivating writing in order to understand the past. In a digital world, it can be hard for them to visualize what the lives of early Americans were like. Primary sources give them detailed visuals from the past. In addition, a few fun pieces of historical fiction will help round out our class library.
