Giving my economically disadvantaged students these two technology pieces will help support them in 21st century learning. The Qball will increase student engagement as they learn, throw, and show what they know with their peers. The wireless microphone ball will help my students gain confidence and feel valued because they will know that their voice is heard. It can be used throughout the entire school day in any subject to boost rigor and get them up and moving to learn.
The Osmos will allow my students to engage in tactile exploration through a broad range of skills. They will be able to showcase their creativity, problem-solving, and gain confidence along the way. In addition to the technology aspect, the tangible pieces will increase engagement and create a special learning experience. The Osmos will support my students learning in many areas including reading, math, and fine motor skill development.
