I have chosen an alligator game that I have used this year with the students during social skills lessons at school to teach interactive play, waiting, turn-taking, and attending. They love it and having a familiar toy, will be fun and comforting for them. I'm hoping that this will also encourage some great family interactions! I've also chosen some books that focus on emotions and social skills, so that we can look at them together during our virtual social skills groups. Teaching social interaction in person skills is hard, but trying to do it through distance learning can be an enormous challenge! These kids have come so far this year and I am excited for their growth to continue even in the face of this pandemic. Thank you for helping me to support these amazing kids!
