Students will be able to complete an author study based on the readings of Suzanne Collins' trilogy, essay writing, geography supplements, as well as the prequel to the Hunger Games. Students will have the opportunity to see into the mind of the author, how she was able to complete her works, and the sequence she used to make it all come together. Students will experience plot development, watch how characters are introduced, how they change, how they are written off, and students will be able to experience each character as more traits are revealed. This author's study can be a game-changer for students and their love of reading.

About my class
