My students are ready to learn and eager for what the day is to bring. Many of my students come from low-income families, and this is their first real experience at school or even in a structured environment.
I teach in an inclusion pre-k class meaning that some of the students have special needs or disabilities. The 18 students in my pre-k class come from varying living circumstances, but they are all eager to learn. Many of these students are from single-parent households or living with other relatives. They come with their desire to learn and ready hugs and smiles as they embrace school and learning.
