All of these materials will help get our students hands-on through our geometry section! Students will work with tanagrams to understand how shapes fit together and also as tools to practice the skill of finding area. Students will use the 3D geometric figures to also find area and volume and understand that figures are solid and are "filled." Our students can reinforce their understanding of not only area, but volume and surface area with these manipulatives. These tools and more will further students understanding of figures beyond just paper and pencil, and give them a tangible resource to discover math!
