Reading and interpreting texts are an important part of my class. This project will create an opportunity for my students to not only analyze a text but also to represent their ideas through drawing and painting as we explore our unit on beauty and aesthetics around the world.
We will also explore influential artists of the 20th century as well as native art and designs. I will use aluminum foil and other different materials to represent tin art techniques inspired by Mexican folk art, a popular art form that has been passed down through several generations.
