These microscope slides will help my students prepare for the Forensics event in Science Olympiad. Students need to learn about the structure of hair and be able to identify various types of hair including bat, cow, squirrel, deer and human.
Using these slides will provide real world hands on experience for all of my students. By having access to the real samples more students will be engaged about learning the structure of hair and types of hair. At the competition they need to be able to identify unknown hair samples and these microscope hair slides will allow them to practice with actual samples.
