Keeping my kindergartners excited about learning to read is one of my top priorities! To do this, MANY different books are needed to spark the interest of the diverse learners and learning styles in our classroom. Providing a variety of books on many different topics will help spark the interest of all the students and motivate them to WANT to read more! Some of the books will be used for math, science or social/emotional lessons. Reading just the right book before teaching a lesson is a wonderful way to engage students and prepare and excite them for the lesson to come.

About my class
