If my project is funded, I will transfer student designed AVID logos onto the sweatshirts so that my students can stay warm this winter. It's hard to say where we will be learning this winter, weather we are at our school site or at home. No matter what, all students can feel warm and united with their AVID sweatshirts on. I want to promote a team spirit. It's been difficult being out of school since March. Students have not been as connected to school. AVID Sweatshirts will help them stay focused on their goal of being achievers. Here are a few things my students told me about how sweatshirts would help them. In their own words: we will feel more like a team and a family -Laynie. It will keep me warm-Alondra. I could represent the class outside of school -Amaya, It will bring out the leader in us every time we wear them -Lisandra, Sweatshirts will bring us together -Victoria
