My classroom consists of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade learning support students. I am currently teaching some students in person, and others via live computer stream, simultaneously. There are many times that I am not able to run to our school printer (there is only 1 on the floor) due to time constraints and the inability to leave my students alone in our classroom. Also, due to many students now learning from home, we are required to upload multiple assignments to our google classrooms daily. Therefore, having the ability to scan items from my classroom will give me more time to focus on my students and less on running back and forth to the copy room.
Colorful material always makes learning more fun. We do not have a color printer in our building. I would love to be able to make colorful, vibrant, copies of our assignments to better engage my students. Color printouts will also allow me to create interactive visual aids for use in the classroom, which can help communicate complex concepts to my students.
