Flexible seating gives the students the ability to learn at their best. I have noticed that my students are more engaged when they get to choose where to sit. I teach them to take ownership of their learning, and when they pick the best learning spots for them, that's exactly what they are doing.
Math and Science can be challenging subjects, and I'm hoping that they will see how fun Math and science can be by giving the students fun items or manipulatives. I believe I have future mathematicians and scientists in my room.
