As Bob Marley's once sang, "One Love, One Heart, Lets Get Together And Feel Alright". I couldn't agree more with these beautiful lyrics and try to live and teach that everyday. :) In order to better love and respect others, we need to learn about each other and the different cultures in our beautiful world. I think it's just as necessary to teach our students how to love, respect, and appreciate others as it is to teach them how to read. Due to this belief, I created my "What A Wonderful World" unit for my K cuties where they learn about various aspects of culture and different parts of the world every month. Throughout the year I have seen each student grow in their knowledge of the "greater good" and that they and their culture are an important part of our wonderful world. Much of our lessons are based on books, pictures/displays, and our discussions are incredible. The materials I would like to get through this Ðǿմ«Ã½ project would provide fantastic hands-on materials to more deeply grow in their knowledge and appreciation of different cultures and places. Thank you for taking the time to read about and consider supporting this project! Always remember, you make this world more wonderful everyday!
