I read a variety of genres to my students in the hopes that they will find something that interests them and encourages them to pick up another book. My favorite book to share and experience with my them is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. This year, when we finished the first book, my students begged me to read them the second book. Watching them fall in love with this series has been one of the highlights of my year. With summer approaching, my students were sad about not being able to read the third book together. I would love to send them all home with a copy of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban so their interest in reading can continue to grow this summer. I know my students would love this gift!
