Research shows that the best learning for children from birth to age five involves learning through PLAY. As an early childhood educator, one of my goals is to make learning fun. Creating an environment in which children can grow, develop, and thrive is a joy and an honor. This play set will be a part of ten stations in my classroom carefully designed to incorporate choice based learning. As students explore their "dramatic play" center they learn to imagine themselves as a doctor, a farmer, or a chef. Experienced based learning leads to questions. Questions lead to teacher assisted research. And research leads to our ultimate goal: learning. Students in my classes will absolutely enjoy this play set for many years to come. Please consider donating to make a difference in the lives of the youngest at our school.
