I teach film making to grades 6-8. My students are extremely creative and I am always surprised by their resourcefulness. When creating films, they will bring old Halloween costumes for use in their projects, they will edit and film on their phones and even bring in toys from home in order to create their stop motion projects. It would be wonderful if our class was equip with additional film making tools such as proper lighting and tripods so that they can practice and grow as young filmmakers while using the actual tools of the trade.
