The calculators have a great feature to help the students with their facts, and it is a fun way for them to practice. The calculators will be used on a daily basis, starting in September with addition and subtraction, and later in the school year for multiplication and division.
Fact fluency is important, not only for problem solving, but in our everyday lives.
The students can use the calculators as an alternate to flash cards. Students, who have used these calculators in the past, have enjoyed this method of practice. I am hoping to have all of my students benefit!
