Having flexible seating options around our classroom will help with student engagement as students will have seating choices based on their own needs and wishes. Students will have more success building reading stamina when they are able to choose the type of seat they would like for their learning spaces. Students will be able to use flexible seating throughout the day, and through all content areas. Students will enjoy our classroom more, and grow as learners as they navigate through their day with more independence and choice. Flexible seating will also help my students in the area of social-emotional learning.

About my class
