Many of our students do not have devices or internet access at home. In order to keep up with current events and learn about the past, we trying to use a variety of technology to help connect to the students. We often show videos to reinforce material. Students are working on various tasks simultaneously and it can be very challenging when they do not have headphones. Some of our students really struggle with focusing and the headphones will certainly help to limit distractions. In addition, there are many sites that will read to the kids as they follow along. Headphones are a necessity in that situation. Movement is a key component of education as well as learning through play. We try to give as many positive experiences as possible.
