With primary appropriate furniture, we will have more room to spread out and learn together. Currently, our large, bulky tables make it hard to move safely and easily around the room. We are often tripping over each other and our tables. Kindergarten students learn through exploration and play, but you need space in order to this. Space that is currently filled with large tables meant for much bigger kids.
In addition, round tables,as opposed to the rectangular tables we currently have, enable more cooperative discussion and group work, which is also a big part of our kindergarten learning experience.
