Teaching in an EIP (Early Intervention Program) classroom can be difficult because so often the students have difficulty focusing their attention. There is so much stimuli in the classroom that it can be overwhelming to many of these struggling students. I have tried to bring a calmness to the classroom with peaceful music and diffusing scents. There just seems to be something we are missing.
My plan for these fluorescent light coverings is to bring peace and tranquility to the room. Along with the calming music and scents, I believe the tranquil light covers will be the missing piece of the puzzle!
