When Covid - 19 hit, teachers and students were thrust into an environment where we had to adjust to teaching from home. Sitting all day in front of a screen was a huge new adjustment, and unlike the scenario of walking around and engaging with our students through movement in our physical classrooms.
Help me try to recreate the energetic atmosphere of my classroom, in my new and work-in-progress home classroom through a standing desk and a workout exercise ball chair. Both of these objects will help keep me motivated throughout the day, in an effort to transfer that energy to my 2nd Graders! My hope is that it can encourage them through my example, that movement is important, and that learners can adjust their environments to best suit their needs.
About my class
