This project is really just supplying myself with a microphone so I can create great sounding screen casts for my students to view / listen to during the mandated school dismissal. Students are required to learn from home during the COVID-19 breakout and without proper audio recording equipment, their success may be impacted. As we all know when watching YouTube, when a video has poor sound quality it is harder for the individual to listen / learn what is being taught. By providing high quality audio, my students will enjoy the lesson more and hopefully be able to retain the information being presented. Students will benefit from this project by enhancing their online learning experience. While at home, students will be completing their learning through our school's LMS system. I will be doing screencasts of all the lessons. When proper quality audio is available for screencasts, students' attention span is increased.
