My students will be able to have book clubs virtually to not only become better readers, but to provide an escape during this e-learning time. Our book clubs will take place on Zoom, where they will be able
to have a sense of normalcy, to see their peers and chat with them about their books. These book clubs will hopefully spark curiosity about books their peers are reading. I will be able to have conferences with them about the books that they read. These conferences will not only provide information about the reader for me, but give my students an opportunity to “escape,” not being able to leave their homes.
