I’m an Urban Teacher Fellow at a Title I school in South Dallas, where nearly all of my students (99%) come from low-income households. Despite limited resources, they show up every day ready to learn, grow, and lead. I strive to create a safe, engaging classroom where their needs are met and they can thrive. While I do what I can out of pocket, support for basic supplies, books, classroom projects/transformations, and learning materials helps stretch our impact even further. Our school being located in a tough neighborhood doesn't keep us from being South Dallas proud! Any contribution, big or small, goes directly toward creating a stronger learning environment for students who deserve the best. Thank you for your support.
