Life-sized anatomy models would enhance learning in my biology classroom immensely. Not only could students visualize actual systems and organs, but they could better understand positioning and placement within the body. I currently draw these things on the board, and I have a running joke with my students that, "I'm no artist!"
In addition to use during classroom lectures, these life-sized models could be used by students at learning stations and for projects where they explore the different make-up of systems and organs. Finally, just having the models on display in the classroom will reinforce learning.
