The materials and supplies that I have requested for my students already have a 鈥渉ome.鈥 In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help getting everything through the door! The rug will go in the back of the classroom by the bookcases and reading nook. The stools will go at the back table and serve as an alternative seating option for students daily! The clipboards, rolling cart, and drawers will be areas that students can collect ideas and resources, and use throughout their learning during the day. The large chart paper will be used to create anchor charts that reflect what we are learning and aid in creating discussions for mini-lessons.
The donations to this project will help create an environment for my students that makes them feel welcome, safe, and inspired daily. We will use these materials to help us become life-long learners. As a teacher, I have done extensive research on the importance of a classroom community in the primary grades. Yet I truly need your support to make this a reality! Thanks!
