All of my students deserve an education like everyone else! I am a first year teacher that wants to give her students the world, but I will simply start with paper and pencils! I am collecting items such as paper, pencils, math manipulatives, games, and art supplies so my students can learn, have fun, and be creative all at the same time. The students will be using math manipulatives, such as the fraction tiles, flashcards, Math Bingo, and the clocks, during centers time, teacher-led activities, and small group intervention to practice and strengthen their mathematics skills. The sticky notes and art supplies are for students to ask questions, quick checks for understanding, and to be creative during class and free time. I want my students to have an enjoyable learning experience and not have to worry about not having a pencil to practice their multiplication skills. These simple supplies will have a positive impact on my students that will last a lifetime.
