With your help, all of my students will have the materials and the opportunity to be creative artists at home during our Stay at Home order. Many kids don’t have the supplies needed to draw or create away from school. In fact, many children don't have paper to write on or crayons to use.
I feel that when children are away from school, they deserve to have art supplies to use. The joy that art brings to all the boys and girls I teach in school needs to be available to them when they are at home. Especially in the days ahead and the uncertainty of our communities.
My wish is that these materials will be delivered to children at their homes, so they can continue to learn and enjoy drawing in a life that is not "normal" to them anymore. I can't wait to see their smiling faces when they get their own tote bag to design, filled with art supplies, a sketchbook, and a message of hope from me and you inside.
