Many of my students are from other countries. Our library collection is dated in our collection of books about countries around the world. We will be reading and learning how kids in other countries live. Students will learn how to do beginning research using the Super 3 Research Model. Students will take notes in a graphic organizer on a country of their choice. Students will learn note taking skills and be able to locate their country on an atlas. Students will be able to practice their speaking skills by presenting their facts to the class.
